The new G-Body Hood hinge kit is now available from Ringbrothers. The hood hinge is a direct bolt connection upgrade of the GMC G-Body platform car from 1978 to 1988.
The hinge is a direct substitute. These do not require modifications to the vehicle installation. Compared with the original mechanical spring hinge, the sturdy and lightweight aluminum hinge has inflatable struts to provide smoother action. The hinge kit allows the G-Body hood to be easily opened and closed in the same position every time, making it easier to perform proper panel clearance and hood alignment.
The kit is suitable for fiberglass and steel hoods, and is available in two finishes: natural color and black anodized.
