It's hard to keep track of all the limited edition Ford Mustang models released in decades, but one variant that has been eye-catching is the Cobra R. Now a particularly stunning example is on sale.
This Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R is one of the 300 models produced that year. Like all other Cobra R, it is coated with Performance Red and has never been modified. Even more desirable is that its clock is only 1,905 miles (3,065 kilometers).

The limited edition Mustang SVT Cobra R is equipped with a 5.4-liter naturally aspirated V8 at the factory, which can produce 385 hp at 5,700 rpm and 385 lb-ft (522 Nm) of torque at 4,500 rpm, while rotating at 6,500 rpm. Many other modifications were made to the car, including the installation of lowered springs, Bilstein and front shock absorbers, and large 4-piston Brembo brake calipers. It also has a T-56 Tremec six-speed manual transmission with a Gerodisc hydro-mechanical differential that drives the rear wheels.
At the time, it was the fastest mass-produced Mustang ever, reaching 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.7 seconds, and then 177 mph (285 km/h).
Various visual modifications were also made to the car. For example, it has a unique body kit with obvious front lip, electric dome cover, unique side skirts, unique rear diffuser and fixed rear wing. The collection car list pointed out that the original front spoiler of this example was misplaced, which is a bit regrettable.
Given the car's low mileage, it shows almost no signs of wear. As a result, the Performance Red paint is in excellent condition, and the dark charcoal cloth interior on the front seats is not worn or damaged.
