Malaysian Porsche, represented by Sime Darby Automotive Performance (SDAP), officially launched the latest generation 992 Porsche 911 GT3. Pricing for the track-focused beast starts from RM1,766,244 (without options), but includes 50% SST exemption for CBU cars.

It may not look like a typical supercar, but it is a purist's dream, able to run through the green hell in less than 7 minutes. Powering the GT3 is a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter six-cylinder engine from the 911 Speedster, which produces 510 PS at 8,400 rpm and 470 Nm of torque at 6,100 rpm. It rotates at 9,000 rpm, has an independent throttle body and a maintenance-free solid valve lifter.

Fortunately, customers can choose a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed PDK dual clutch for free. You can also specify the GT3 Touring Package for a more refined appearance (it won’t cost you an extra cent), and the Touring Package can also be used with PDK.

For the manual, GT3 will complete the sprint of the century in 3.9 seconds and reach 200 km/h in 11.9 seconds, while PDK is faster, reaching the 100 km/h mark in 3.4 seconds and 200 km/h in 10.8 seconds The top speed of manual gear is 320 km/h, while the top speed of PDK is 318 km/h.

Both the PDK and the manual box are inherited from the previous version, the latter retains the speed matching function and the advantage of being 17 kg heavier than the PDK. Compared with Carrera and Turbo, PDK also has one less transmission ratio, which reduces weight and allows the installation of traditional mechanical gear levers. Of course, the shift paddles are standard.

It is worth noting that despite the larger body, the GT3 is hardly heavier than the upcoming model. The manual version weighs only 1,418 kg, and the PDK weighs 1,435 kg, which is about 5 kg heavier than 991.2. The weight reduction comes from the use of lighter glass and the removal of rear seats and sound insulation. The lightweight lithium iron phosphate battery is also standard, and the weight is 10% lighter than the old model.

The standard here is an active pneumatic drill, in its most aggressive state, the downforce will increase by 150%. The front suspension also uses an independent double wishbone system (Porsche drives on the road for the first time) instead of a MacPherson strut, which Porsche claims improves driving accuracy and makes the tire contact surface more consistent under load.

Likewise, those who choose the GT3 Touring Package will get a more understated appearance. There is no gooseneck wing, but instead an adaptive wing. The front bumper is also painted in the same color as the body, while the decorative strips on the side windows are made of high-gloss anodized aluminum.

Internally, it is equipped with a dedicated GT3 instrument panel with a central speed counter up to 10,000 rpm. There is a 7-inch display on each side, equipped with a new track screen to give priority to important information while driving. The tachometer is also equipped with a visual shift assistant with colored bars to improve shift accuracy.

Like all 992-generation models, there is a 10.9-inch touch screen display in the middle, with the latest Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system, with online navigation and Porsche Connect Plus. It also supports the Porsche Track Precision app, so track enthusiasts can monitor their progress through a series of analyses.

For personalization, you have at least 105 classic colors to choose from. Porsche also offers the "Paint to Sample" program to further customize the paint. The accessories list of Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur includes exposed carbon fiber roof, carbon fiber side mirror caps, dark LED matrix headlights with clear taillights, painted wheels, etc. New toys, anyone? ?

I think it would be interesting to include its price in Langkawi, because most of them will be registered there anyway

Yes…. I also want to know the price tag of Langkawi.

Waiting for CKD to get better pricing

The elite get it in Labuan

If you choose pdk, you don’t deserve to own this car
